What is Operation Purple Sky?
Operation Purple Sky is a non-profit anti-bullying organization. Our mission to show that there are good people out there. We want to expose the truth about bullying and how it happens everywhere. We want to inform people how it can change someone's life, or even worse, end it. Bullying has become such a common occurance in the world today and we think it's time for a change but we need YOUR help to bring Bullying to an end.
We spread awarness about bullying in many ways. We attend local craft shows and events, hand out flyers, talk to people, speak our mind on social media websites like twitter, facebook, tumblr, ect., and most importantly we offer ourselves as friends. We don't want anyone to ever feel alone.
The Founders:
My name is Michelle and I’m a 17 year old senior from the state of Ohio. My interests include photography, playing soccer, volleyball, writing, and spending time with friends and family. From a young age I have always known I didn’t want to be just another person who never made their mark on this world. Knowing that bullying is a huge issue, I wasn’t going to stand back and watch it control countless lives when I knew I had the power to do something. Alaina and I knew that together, offering ourselves as friends to anyone who needed one and bringing awareness to the topic, we could change lives and thus Operation Purple Sky was created. By helping others I have actually begun helping myself. I truly believe the best reward there is in life is to make others happy and to see their transformation into stronger and happier beings. I try to encourage every person I meet to stay strong, because I know it gets better.

Hello! My name is Alaina! I’m a fifteen-year-old girl from New Jersey who’s in the 10th grade. The things I enjoy the most are art, music, photography and hanging out with family and friends. I’ve always been the quiet girl in school and because of this, I had the ability to see what is going on around me. One of the things that I observed was bullying. Bullying comes in many forms, like making fun of a person, or saying mean things to someone. Because of this, I felt that I needed to raise awareness of how hurtful these things can be to someone. We want people to notice what is going on around the world and how bullying happens every day. Together we will work together to spread awareness and make a difference In the world.
