Was able to talk and visit with these AWESOME girlscouts! We discussed the importance of kindness and bullying and how to treat others well. These girls sure knew their stuff, they know what to do when a bully approaches...tell an adult! Hope to meet with these girls again soon! (they are just loving their OPS bracelets!)

Wanted to share some awesome people with you:

Biker Against Bullies was started in Missoula, MT to be a support awareness program for the ani-bullying campaigns that already exist in the school system. We let the kids know that Bikers are standing up for a safe environmet in which they are free to thrive and feel safe. We have a quality, weatherproof sticker for the bike or auto that will assist us in increasing the awareness that we, as bikers, care about and protect our children. Opportunities for school engagements are available as well.

Co-founder Michelle and her friend set up a booth at the Hartville Flea Market for Labor Day Weekend to sell bracelets, pass out bookmarks, and provide information on OPS. We had a great time raising money and awareness!

The founders took a tour and visted The Ronald Mcdonald, a program that provides a “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost house to make a donation! For two weeks we had been collecting supplies, and we were so excited to finally be able to present our donation! 

June 21 - July 2, 2013

Alaina lives in New Jersey while Michelle lives in Ohio but being around 500 miles away from eachother doesn't stop them from running an orginzation. On June 21st Michelle flew to go stay with Alaina for almost 2 weeks in NJ. While together they worked on some up and coming projects for OPS but also just spent time together as best friends.

Today, I was given the opportunity to share operation purple sky's mission to end bullying with some of the most amazing people at universal studios Orlando florida- the SUPER HEROS! All of them were incredibly nice, and supportive. Such a great experience!

I (Michelle) attended the Santa Spectacular in Pittsburgh, PA where Greyson preformed. During the event I sold Operation Purple Sky bracelets and then had the chance to meet Greyson. He told me just how proud he was of Operation Purple Sky. He also said that he is truley thankful for people like us and our organization continues amaze him.

I (Alaina) andfew friends attended the Out of the Darkness suicide prevention walk in Philadelphia, PA. While at the event, I met so many new people, and had the opportunity to hear and embrace everyone's stories. I even had the opportunity to share OPS's message in front of hundreds of people, and share my thoughts on suicide. It was a really unforgettable experience. We walked 5 miles for a good cause.

Visiting the Boston's Children's Hospital! Let me say, this is a beautiful hospital. There are so many neat things here, and this hospital has so much history! While visiting, I had the oportunity to make a donation. I had a wonderful time.

Michelle and Alaina set up a table at the Summit County Fair to sell bracelets, t-shirts, collect donations, and raise awarness. We recieved a great reaction and many people stopped to share their stories with us.

Both Michelle and Alaina finally met up for the first time! We visited Akron's childrens hospital to make a donation. We had such an amazing time with eachother, we'll definatly be meeting up again soon!

While going to Oklahoma for a Charity concert event, I (Alaina) made my way to a few hospitals to make a visit and donate. However, when making visiting the Children's Hospital, I was surprised with a special visit from the one and only Greyson Chance! It was such an honor meeting him, and he loved what we are doing with Operation Purple Sky. We toured the hospital together, and had the chance to meet with wonderful children! Great experience.

Today I (Alaina) had the wonderful oportunity to visit the Oklahoma Children's Hospital. Let me just say, it was a BEAUTIFUL experience. Not only did I take a tour around the hospital, I was able to meet with some of the children who are there on a daily basis. It was definantly an experience to remember forever. Loved it!

On this very day, was the begining to our journey. Michelle and Alaina had created a twitter account called "YoureAPurpleSky" which they used to tell people that they are 'beautiful just like the purple sky'. Although, a twitter account turned into something much greater. With our mission to share the message, we created OPERATION PURPLE SKY, an anti-bullying organization to spread the message we are trying to get across. From this day forward, we spread awanress about bullying and the importance of equality.
